Holy Scripture
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, breathed out by the Spirit, without error, and sufficiently teach us what we are to believe and what duties God requires of us.
The Trinity
We believe that God is One, and that He has always existed as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Who are equal in power and glory.
Christ the King
We believe the eternal Son of God became man by taking to Himself a body and soul, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of His people, was resurrected on the third day, ascended into heaven, sat down at the right hand of the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
Hope in Christ
We believe that every person is born in sin and is under the wrath of God and utterly dead in their trespasses, but that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, so that by His life and death those who believe in Him by the power of the Spirit will be reconciled to God, shepherded by Him, and have eternal life with Him.
Biblical Families
We believe that God has established marriage to be between one man and one woman, with different but complementary roles. Religion in the home should be just as real and vital as that in church. To that end, we encourage personal and family worship and catechizing (questions and instruction) of our covenant children.
A more full statement of our beliefs can be found in the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and the RPCNA Constitution.
